“Nice food, shame about le patron”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

After a morning spent in Cite de L'Architecture et du Patrimoine we stopped here for lunch. The food was great, the service good, our waiter cheerful and attentive. The toilet was awash and when my Wife used a paper serviette on a stand to dry herr hands the manager blew his stack and was extremely abusive. If he had kept his toilet in good order there would have been no problem

“It's BAD”
Reviewed September 24, 2013 via mobile

The beginning of the name says it all! This place had the worst service - we had to ask three times for the bill and when it came 9.60 Euro for 2 coffees! Never again

“Nice restaurant with a beautiful view”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

My wife and I had dinner here. The service was OK but the food was very good and the view was excellent. The restaurant sits just across the street from the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the background. We were there at night and saw the Eiffel Tower in all it's lit glory. Beautiful!
We shared an appetizer, both had an entree, two glasses of wine and desert. Total cost was 53 Euro. Great value for an excellent meal!!
If you are in Paris and would like a nice meal with a great view at a reasonable price (especially for Paris!) then Le Malakoff is a wonderful destination!

“Confit du canard”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

The plate "confit du canard" is so delicious because it has crispy and very taste. The view is wonderful because you eat seeing a tower Eiffel.

“Great location, good food just poor service.”
Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

Popped in for lunch, had two drinks and some baguettes. The waiter didn't like people moving the chairs out of straight lines, which made it awkward for customers to sit next to each other.

He asked if we wanted something to eat, and we said yes. However he was disappointed when we ordered from the snack menu and not his expensive lunch menu.

The restaurant next door seems much nice and regret not going there.
