We stopped here for a quick lunch (can there ever be such a thing in France??). Service was a little slow which detracted from the enjoyment for some of our party. However the food, when it did arrive, was excellent. Sandwiches were made with delicious bread and the fillings were of very high quality.
Considering you are in central Paris in one of the most popular areas (Eiffel Tower) the food prices were more than reasonable. Coffee prices however were extortionate! As much as a sandwich!
The place was very busy, even on a midweek lunch time and with lots of other places close by to choose from as well. I imagine it would have a lively, buzzing atmosphere on an evening and if I were in the area in future I'd like to try out evening dining.
It's often hard to choose somewhere to eat when faced with so many different options, but we're glad we went for Le Malakoff and would recommend others do so to.
