After so many recommendations, I am sad to report that this is the greatest disappointment for Japanese restaurants in Paris. maybe it was just our table, but being a sommelier, and not having the appropriate presence of the house sommelier(who by the way had the golden grape pin, synonymous of French sommelier)...never once, besides to offer a different sake, did he ask if we kept enjoying our meal. If you are ready to spend +3hrs at a table with only 2 other tables, pay +700€ for 4 people, no a la carte menu, then I advise you don't go. The service, besides being slow is incompetent and although in France, the staff speaks barely any French or English. So next time you decide to go to a Japanese restaurant on rue st.Anne, opt for a lesser reputation but definitely higher quality.
