They send you to Bertillon as a tourist.. Don't fall for that!

Pozzetto offer first grade icecream. The pistachio is good, the fiordilatte and straciatella are exceptional.

Whoa, kind of a bold statement there don't you think? Well, no. On a 6 day stay in Paris, we went, well .... each day. No matter where we went, what sights we saw, inevitably we found our selves stopping by for a dish, a cone, a coffee and a cone. What else do you do on vacation but hopefully what you want to do. The gelato here is excellent probably due to the fact that it is made on site, well actually next door, and made daily. And if you are lucky to squeeze inside, literally, you will think you are in Italy. The cast and crew appear to be mostly, if not all, from Italy. It can be a nice respite from the Parisian hustle, bustle and attitude. No atmosphere to speak of, no flowers on your cone but excellent gelato.

The ice cream is of superb quality and truly artisanal - pistachio is nuttty and salty, the sorbets fruity, smooth and authentic, the glace creamy and delicious with excellent service. The list of flavours is small and the focus is getting them perfect, which they achieve.

I am serious - this is a champions league ice cream. I also tried their hazelnuts paste (Nutella big mama). This is a must for any 'chocolate-eater'

It's tough being a vegetarian in Paris-- but the fruit gelato here was a lushly-flavored delight that will please everybody. The folks are Italian, and you'll get an extra big smile if you call out "Ciao!" when you enter.
