If you want to lunch something before a walk through the town this is a nice choice. The pizza like tortillas are very enjoyable and tasty. I went there in 2013 and had a good lunch for a good price.

We came here for dinner with a large group of American tourists. Flammekueche is not pizza, but it resembles pizza somewhat. Traditionally from the Alsace region of France along the border with Germany, the flammekueche's crust is sort of like one layer of pita bread, with a sauce that is white and creamy. The flammekueche is topped with cheese, meat, vegetables, or (for dessert) fruit and baked until the edges are browned. Bowls of salad and large bottles of water are placed on tables for diners to serve themselves. The flammekueches are rather square-shaped, and diners use pizza cutters to serve themselves. We enjoyed the meal here very much, especially since we were eating traditional food from a specific region of France that we cannot get at home.

We ate here as one of our pre-planned meals during a high school senior class trip from the USA. I went as a chaperone. Most of the tables were booths. First we had a starter Green Salad, which was tasty and they bring in a large bowl (which wasn't all that large), which you serve yourself from. They would bring as much as we wanted, but when we asked for a third bowl (there were 6 of us at our booth), the waitress acted like she didn't hear us and didn't bring any more.

Then we were served the main dish of "all you can eat" Flammekueche (thin layer of dough, covered with a mix of cream and a soft white cheese) with bacon, fresh mushrooms and Emmental cheese, which was quite delicious and we had several. They do not pre-slice it, so you have to slice at your table and share.

Then we had dessert (1 chocolate and 1 apple cinnamon), "all you can eat" as well, but when we asked for another one, again the waitress ignored us.

We only drank water, but had to wait about 10 minutes for our second and third pitcher's.

The food was delicious, which is why I gave it a "very good" rating, but the service was poor. I don't think the waitress understood English very well, but "more" seems like a fairly easy word to learn especially if you work in a restaurant.

We went to Flam's because we had a 15% off discount in the Paris Pass book. Once we were sat, it took the waitress about 15 minutes to come to the table. We had some questions about the menu because it had a strange layout and was a bit confusing. Before we could finish the questions, the waitress cut us off because she could not speak English well. About 5 minutes later, another waiter came over who spoke English and had no idea about the Paris Pass offer. The prices on the menu were not too bad even if we couldn't get the discount. We ended up leaving before they took our order because they were not accommodating and basically ignored the table we were at.

We hesitated at first to go in here because it is a chain restaurant. Our expectations were exceeded by the tasty Flammkuechen from the Alsace-region they serve here. Its not a pizza really, more like a giant warm matze with fresh cream and vegetables/meat/fish on it, depending on your choice. Lots of french people ate here too. Wine and bear relatively cheap compared too other parisian eateries.
