We only had 2 nights in Paris and wanted to make sure we partook of the good food Paris is known for. I had read reviews from tripadvisor and a couple of blogs, and wanted to go here either for a lunch or dinner. We arrived at opening hour, 7:30pm, on a Saturday eve with 3 children in tow, and although we didn't have reservations, the staff kindly seated us on the terrace outside. Lucky for us, because within an hour, the place was full! Mostly locals too, which is always a good sign. The waitstaff, including our Uma-Thurman lookalike waitress, was very helpful and spoke to us in French and English (we have basic conversational French) and didn't mind our kids at all (they are age 4-10). The food was delicious and very high quality, the wines were inexpensive but good (we had a great Bordeaux for 26 euros), and our entire meal for 5 people came to under 115 euros (we didn't have dessert). Service was quick for France. It's located on a quiet street around the corner from Faubourg St Antoine - I don't think it will stay a hidden gem for long after all these great reviews!
