My wife and I stayed in room 10 on the second floor with a great view of the Chateau. The room was spacious and the furniture comfy. We arrived having driven from CDG Airport after a 24 hour journey. We would have slept anywhere, but the bed we were given was eminently fit for purpose.
The morning breakfast was plentiful and varied, including meats, cheese, fruit, eggs and bread. The breakfast room itself was a delight, and I found myself looking at a portrait of a royal procession to the Chateau as I sipped my coffee and munched on my croissant.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager even came out onto the street to help us as we stood by the window, dazed and confused. We were very happy with this hotel and would certainly stay here again if we wished to visit the region.
There is no lift, but I said to my wife that if we come again we should book for a month and tell ourselves we were losing weight. This would be a lie, as we went to an excellent bistro for lunch, just next to the Carousel at the entrance to the chateau gardens. Nevertheless, the lie would be beautiful.More
