We ended a fabulous morning of swimming by deciding to eat at La Paillote for lunch.
In a way the test of a restaurant is doing the simple things well. If they can’t make a good salad then there is little hope. This place makes a very fine salad. We had ham and goats cheese salad and Weekend special salad. Both well presented and very tasty. These were followed by the dessert of the day which was coconut creme brûlée and very good ice cream. The creme brûlée was an unexpected delight.
Service was good and friendly and I would love an evening meal so close to the beach on a warm evening but unfortunately this visit was on our last day.
Would recommend it but you might need something or someone to translate the menus as there are no English subtitles and that can be a big positive.
