The menu is brought to you on a big blackboard and it is in French! But the waiter translates it to you and gives recommendations. The food is really tasty and delicious. Portions are rather big.
If you don´t want to miss it, reserve a table.

Our first meal in Ajaccio, so nothing to compare it too.

Very friendly service. Menu on blackboard and a choice of 4 or 5 dishes for each course
With a good varied choice.

Generous portion size.
Wine list all Corsican. We had the cheapest white 28 Euros which was reasonable

Cheese course to finish and a nice glass of red. All Corsican cheeses.

Is this the best restaurant in Ajaccio bas on tripadvisor reviews? Good solid food well worth a visit but not haut cuisine of the highest order.

We visited this restaurant because of the reviews I had read on trip advisor. This was the last night of our 3 week honeymoon and it was worth the visit!

We were greeted by the owner and were then explained the menu in great detail.

We were served a gaspacho amuse bouche to start. I ordered the 32 euro menu which includes an appetizer and a main course and my husband had the 39 euro menu which included a dessert.

For my appetizer, I had the terrine de porc with foie gras and my husband had the gambas crème brûlé. Both were amazing!

For our mains, I got the beef - which was perfectly cooked and my husband got the curried maquereau which was also delicious.

For dessert, we shared the chocolate lava cake - yum!

The service was also amazing. You can tell the owner was very passionate and that’s really what made the experience great for us!

We (party of 7, 3 children) opted for this restaurant 'cause of it's Michelin Bip gourmand. We were not sure whether it was adapted for children, but this worry was unjustified.

The service was VERY attentive and reactive and the explanations for the menu made it even more difficult to make the right choice, as everything sounded delightful.

For the children, we were proposed the filet de boeuf or filet of fish with potatoes and a dessert, which we accepted voluntarely.

We got as amouse-bouche a very tasty fish-terrine, then followed wether a Feuilleté with goat cheese and tomatoe, a porc-terrine with foie gras, a crème brûlée with gambas and a piemontaise of tuna fish ... all excellent.

As main plate, all of us choose the over-all excellent filet de boeuf medium rare (saignant) ... very best!

For the desserts, we were tempted by the chocolate mi-cuit, the almond tart with figues and the meringue with chocolate and raspberry icecream.

Everything was fabolous!

Also the wine suggested by the chief was perfect, although I would have preferred a wine menu with the vintages and a wider choice.

We were finally very satisfied and would surely come back.

We ate here under the recommendation of our hotel and we are very happy that we listened! The meal was absolutely delicious and the owner was very nice. Great value for money too!
