We stopped in Troyes on our way from Belgium to the South of France, for a break in the journey but also to see Troyes itself. Both were a good choice. The very atmospheric Troyes old town with the very quaint half-timbered buildings was only 10 minutes or so walk away.
The IBIS room was fairly small, but it was very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite good value. There was pay parking in an underground car park but when we visited this was not necessary as there was plenty of free parking close by.
