Good service, nice quality food, reasonable prices. A place to visit should you need to lunch or dine after some walk in the Middle-Age Troyes town center.

Nice restaurant in centre of city. Very good and unusual food. Tartare is delicious! Good service. Highly recommended.

We were not sure what to expect from a restaurant located in what is normally a tourist location. However Troyes is not really a tourist destination and while this restaurant does attract visitors, a lot of its patrons are people that know a good place with a solid reputation. There are two locations, the restaurant and immediately next door, the annex. If we had time, we would have gone to both to be able to sample each menu, but on this occasion we had time only for the restaurant. Seated outside, in gentle sunshine, we were off to a good start even before the food came. For starters we had a few of the little tasters that come in squat test tubes - each was delicious. For mains we had a baked fish dish, the salmon tartare and the kids pasta. It was a good sign that the kids dishes here were far more evolved than the chicken nuggets and burger offering that is all that kids are offered in other restaurants. All were fabulously tasty, served with impeccable manners and we wished we could have eaten more.

I can only add to the other great comments
Seemed typically French. Was very busy.
Great busy atmosphere... We booked a week in advance via email and they replied the same day..the owner turned away at least 5 additional guest parties because the restaurant was already full...
Starters were the rillettes. A pate based meat on bread which were lovely...
Mains were great particularly the wife’s fish stew.
And desserts fantastic too....
The owner / waiter couldn’t have been more helpful. His English was excellent and he advised fully what he thought we would and would not like....
He even had a tablet version of the restaurant in English to help us... brilliant...
To give you ideas
Starter rillettes... to share...8-13 euros total
Mains 14-17 euros
Desserts 7-8 euros...
Wine choice was excellent.., my wife also loved the glass of champagne...8 euros
All in all a great night out....
Well done...

We visited today at 1.30pm. The service was fantastic. Welcoming and given French menu and an iPad with English menu for support. Children’s menu delicious and certainly big enough for an older child.
One child had chicken /mushroom parpedelle and the other 2 had homemade crunch chicken salad and roasted potatoes .
We had 6 rillettes which were very filling x seafood salad and beef tartare. Stuffed!
We sampled the champagne of the week and also bought diff white wines by the glass reasonably priced.
Chilled place with lovely staff. Recommend
