“Comfortable B&B, Great Location”
Reviewed April 28, 2012

We stayed two nights in April 2012. We had a very large room on the first floor, nicely furnished and with a good bathroom. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. There was no TV but the wifi worked well. Renaud and Veronique provided good breakfasts with breads, pastries, yoghurt, stewed fruit, fresh squeezed juice, tea, coffee and chocolate. We parked in a secure single car garage across the road for E8 per night. If driving, Les telliers can be difficult to access as the roads have been changed a few years ago and satnavs have not caught up yet. Google maps is also wrong. We found it best to enter from Rue du Cadran Saint-Pierre, into Rue de Talleyrand, right into Rue Noel and right again into Rue des Telliers.

Excellent location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and close to all local attractions. We stayed in the double room on the first floor for 2 nights in March. The room was spacious and very tastefully decorated - wooden floors, beautiful fire place, shutters on the windows, luxuary soft furnishings. The bathroom was clean, the shower hot and powerful. Renaud and Veronique were very welcoming - they gave excellent tips on local visits to champagne houses and where to eat locally. Breakfast was as expected in France - baguette, croissant, yoghurt, tea/coffee etc. Gorgeous communial area, again very tastefully decorated, light and airy. Two lovely, sleepy cats who set the tone for a relaxed stay.

We stayed in the twin room, it was beautifully decorated and very spacious, with a good shower. It was a very good price and the breakfast was excellent: baguette, crossaint, yoghurt, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We could only use the garage for 1 night but there is near by parking in an underground car park for about 12 euros for 24 hours, compared to 8 for the owners garage so it wasn't a problem. The owners were very helpful with telling us about restaurants to eat in and local things to do. The location was very central and it was a good price, I would definately stay here again. It is also located on a quiet street and there are only two rooms so other than the odd bit of floor board creaking from above it was nice and quiet at night.

What a lovely place run by a friendly couple, Renaud and Veronique. There are 2 guest rooms one on the first floor and another on the second. We chose Les Jumeaux on the first. The room is quite large and nicely decorated with a renovated bathroom. At €75 a night including breakfast we thought it was a bargain. The owners gave us helpful suggestions on what to see and do and also made few restaurant and tour bookings for us before our arrival and during our stay. There are 2 cats on the premises but they don’t go into the guest rooms and my husband had no problems even though he is allergic to cats. My only slight quibble is that I think the other guest room was directly above ours and the floors were a bit creaky so we could hear the other guests' footsteps even though I’m sure they were trying to be as quiet as possible. Good coffee at breakfast with fresh squeezed juice, yogurt, fruit, croissant, baguette and nice jams. They also provided us with a champagne bucket, glasses, plates and cutlery whenever we needed. The B&B is conveniently located 500 meters or so from the train station and a few minutes walk to the cathedral. A real gem!

The location is wonderful. A short walk from the train station and a right near the main downtown on a quiet street. The owners are lovely and helpful with directions and recommendations. The room was beautiful, very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was great with fresh juice, bread and coffee/tea. The city bus stop near by to most champaign houses is frequent. There was a lively brassier nearby for dinner. The house is beautiful. You will enjoy staying here!

We were thrilled with this lovely little B&B, which is located in the very middle of Reims. We were greeted on arrival by Renaud, who showed us around, arranged for us to use his lock-up garage (very useful when you have several hundred dollars worth of champagne in the backseat) and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit in Reims (all of which were spot on).

The house is truly beautiful, and our room was lovely - an enormous, clean, beautifully decorated room in white and navy with a big, clean, modern bathroom with a rainforest shower. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

We left early so didn't manage to sample breakfast, but I would recommend this hotel to everyone. An absolute bargain for the 80 euros or so charged for the room.

We spend a weekend in Reims, France, and discovered this B&B through Tripadvisor. And we must say that all the good reviews are very well earned. Situaded well in the center of town, but is a quiet little street, a wonderfull old house with high ceilings and wooden floors.
We stayed in the "Les Jemaux" room and it was large, comfortable, nice beds and a ensuite bathroom with a superb rainshower.
If I really have to give some remarks, and now I'm being very severe, it would only be to give the maximum of information to possible visitors.
*There is no TV in the room, we don't mind at all, but maybe some people would like that.
*Eventhough they asked us in advance when we would arrive so they could accomodate us upon arrival, and we clearly stated we would arrive at about 13h, when we got there we could not get in the room before 17h, so we had to wander around town for about 4 houres before we could change into more comfortable clothes and take a shower.
*Breakfast is very nice to French standards, fresh orange juice, croissants, applesause, bagette, but is remains a French breakfast, and if you, like we, don't have a sweet tooth, it is all a bit oversugared. Just a little slice of cheese or ham or an egg would have made a big difference for us. But as I mentioned, these are details.
The lady of the house is very helpfull and will pass you all the information you need, including a city map and a road map if you want to do the Champagne touristic drive.
Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, on demand you can rent the garage of the owner.
