“Very disappointIng”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

A very unexciting art museum, with very few decent paintings in my opinion. The one I particularly wanted to see 'The Death of Marat' was on loan to Liverpool! There was some nice modern stained glass and some marquetary furniture which was exceptional but in general very poor.

“the history of Champagne”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

Only the display on Champagne was open but it was most interesting ranging from information to art to frivolity.
Musee is easy to find and well worth the visit.

“The current Champagne exhibition is wonderful”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

This small museum is currently showing an exhibition on Champagne that draws some exquisite glass, paintings, and objet d'art from all over the world, including a champagne flute from the collection of Marie Antoinette, drawings by Picasso, one of the oldest champagne glasses in the world and wonderful Art Deco champagne posters.

“Exhibit on champagne”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

The permanent collection of art was nice but the part we liked best was the temporary exhibit about the history of champagne (the drink) and how it is linked to Champagne (the region).

It was free for students so we didn't feel bad just browsing rapidly (we stay about 30 minutes total, which was enough for us to see everything).

“Half of exhibits closed!”
Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

The two rooms we saw were 20th century art. The rest was temporaily closed. They reduced the ticket price by 1 euro as a gesture but still too little to see, we were in and out in half an hour!
