“Very decent”

First of all, the service is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel late after a long trip, way after the 09:30 deadline, but we still got served. The food was first rate and nicely presented. The location in the park of the chateau is spectacular. Imagine that it would be fabulous for a languid weekend lunch outside on the terrace.

“A joy to visit!”
Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

Le Jardin I'm sure will suffer unfairly being located just next to the much revered Parc Les Crayeres. It shouldn't. This was in terms of atmosphere and genuine quality of service the best we had in Reims. The staff were particularly helpful offering suggestions on food and wine and in such a friendly way I felt bad about having to choose at all.
The food was exciting with the view into the kitchen building anticipation. It works like a true brasserie with ingredients from the garden on display along with a fine selection of hams and cheeses. The food was uncomplicated and tasted superb. Regardless of the high standard of the food, it was however the staff which made the night.
The setting was lovely and I imagine a real treat in summer eating al fresco. It's a little way out of town (get a taxi) but worth it.

“Excellent value”

It's a casual version of "Les Crayeres" - opens also on Tuesday. We arrived at 14h, got lost on the way but they kindly accepted us for late lunch. Excellent meals and great champagne and wines to go with. Each dish was colourfully presented with creative mixture of good tastes. Decent portion but not heavy, so you can enjoy three courses with excellent dessert. After a meal, we walked around the castle and lie down on the garden. The surrounding is super. We were lucky to get some sunshine. We recommend to reserve a table if you go there. It's a good stop between Luxembourg and Paris drive. Not too close to Reims centre - the Cathedral is not nearby - next to Veuve Cliquot.

“Unforgettably gourmand!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

This was my second visit to this restaurant and its jaw-dropping property. The service is so discreetly professional, our table of 14 was served in a space set slightly apart and about 8 waiters attended us without ever once getting in the way or even being noticed - I saw them communicating with just looks and was so impressed by their ability to serve 5 courses flawlessly.
The maitre d' has been on staff for about 30 years I learned and he was like an orchestra conductor, ever watchful. Every course was divinely matched with vintage champagnes - all selected for our group, which included a champagne house expert. Many of the small boutique champagnes they presented were unknown to me but extremely good - the food pairing was immaculate. I have never had such fantastic asparagus in my life! I quietly asked for the chef's signature on my menu and he briefly came out to thank us at the meal's end - so talented and so humble. The whole experience for the whole group of 14 people with high levels of expectation because of our backgrounds in food and wine was unanimously excellent - imagine!
Take the time to wander the park and gardens, designed by Rodin, or have one last aperitif in the bar atrium which is sumptuous too. Better still, stay the night in one of their impressive rooms. It will set a new bar for your hotel stays in France. Bon appetit, indeed!

“Amazing”

The most perfect setting and menu option in all Reims!
Along with the accomodation at LES CRAYERES and tours in some champagne cellars we had a great stay.
Phillippe Mille`s amazing tasting menu was exceptional and my choise of a unique vegetarian menu will remain as a high reference! Merci beaucoup et à beintot!
