Stayed in this hotel on 17 August 2012. It is close to the railway station and within walking distance of the Cathedral and the Musee des Beaux Arts - both in the same area. Motorists may use the station car park for just under 6 euros, which can be added to the hotel bill. The room and bathroom were small, but comfortable and clean.
My biggest complaint is that there is no facility on the Ibis website to choose a twin room. There seems to be a presumption that a double room fits all requirements. I travelled with a disabled friend and we required twin beds. At this hotel (later confirmed at the Ibis in Thurrock, England) we were told that requests for twin rooms should be made by phone, which rather defeats online booking. At Ibis Reims, no twin rooms were available and we had to share a double bed. This is something I believe Ibis must sort out, rather than leaving customers desires to chance and just fobbing us off with the suggestion that we phone the hotel.More
