I was incredibly impressed by the value of this hotel, especially considering how expensive Reims was. We stayed over the Easter weekend and the cost worked out to just over 30 euros per person per night, including breakfast! The hotel is new, decorated well in a modern contemporary style, and is super clean. The room was an average size, but also had a fridge, microwave in case you're budgeting. The room also had a bath and a shower, and the loo was separate to the bathroom, which was helpful with three of us in the room. The breakfast's were good continental, with hot croissants, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and other things, including an espresso and cuppucino machine. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and a pleasure to speak to. The hotel is situated on the other side of the trailway tracks from the nice side of town, but there is only a short walk through the train station (you can't hear the trains from the hotel) to get to the main boulevard with restaurants etc. The hotel also has a gated car park and wifi free of charge. I was hugely impressed by this hotel and would highly recommend!

Very modern, clean, well laid out, thoughful and spacious room. Not too sure if very keen on the "bar room style" swing bathroom doors - not too much privacy there ! Comfortable large bed. Separate small loo and mini "kitchen" area. Parking was outdoor but secure. Quite a mucky walk into the centre around the station as much building and road works in progress - not a particlualry central position and a dark walk home after dinner. Nice Christmas market !

Conveniently located next to the local SNCF train station (approximately 10 min walk) the Suitehotel brand never fails to exceed expectations. Given the price per night, you cannot get a better deal and they are far better than much higher priced locations. To many they may be generic, cookie cutter type rooms. However, they are spacious, modern, friendly and well accessorized (they have a gourmet refrigerator in the lobby with competitive pricing).

The staff are only too eager to assist your every whim. The bathrooms are large with a separate toilet, the free wi-fi is SUPER quick, the air-conditioning actually functions as it should and it also has a microwave for your personal use if required.

I would definitely highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Reims.

A member of our party was in a leg cast so we used the locked, private (free) parking lot which isn't big enough for all comers, so get there early. This is a new built hotel on the far side of the GARE from the main st. (dining, cathedral and champagne cellars) not far from the open market. This is a high rise, modular hotel with a big reception (various newspapers available incl. the Herald Trib) with two elevators. The rooms are very quiet and spacious and they have sep. WC from the bathroom (glassed in shower sep. from the bath tub, very nice). Again (oh how many times have I said this on hotel reviews)--there is no soap dish or place to put your personal items in the shower stall (spacious but still it isn't any fun to lean over to pick up soap off the floor). Combination shower gel/soap is provided, but for those of us who are allergic to most scents--not having a shelf in the shower is a nuisance. Still it wouldn't keep me from visiting.
The huge, by French standards, room contains a single bed against the window wall and a nice, comfy double bed with smallish ledges for glasses and reading material off to each side. There is a little corner with wet bar, small fridge and microwave--and tea boiler, coffee packets, etc. The hotel lobby had MOST EXCELLENT coffee by pot free for the taking.
BedS: Unfortunately the hotel believes in the duvet concept, which makes it a bit hot to use in the summer time. We would have been more comfy with just a top sheet at night. Still it wouldn't keep me from visiting.
The reception offered (at 12 EU per) a "buffet breakfast" that wouldn't please an American traveller since it isn't the kind we get at home, and so is overpriced. A coffee and croissant at a local cafe sufficed for the five of us.
The staff spoke English and were well informed and even made bookings for the champagne cellars for us.
At the moment REIMS is under construction --they are building several tramways, and our GPS was useless. At this particular time we came to the conclusion that our weekend would have probably been better spent in Epernay (but only because of the construction on the local sts. in Reims). The cathedral is definately worth a visit so that adds an additional attraction to put up with the building sites. We found the restaurant selection around the Pl. de l'Erlon perfectly fine for our eating out (it is a pedestrian area)
Reims is a very nice town and we certainly would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the magnificent wine region of Champagne.

Having been in hotels of the suitehotel formula before this very new one in Reims follows the same high standards. For a family with children it offers plenty of space for a very good value. The location is conveniently behind the station. As the construction work for the tramway is on the other (city-)side of the station the city is currently less accessible. But that holds for more places in the city, as the tramway constructions unfortunately runs throughout the city. The hotel has its own free and guarded parking lot.
