The situation of the Villa is good for visiting the champagne houses nearby, but it has forgotten the the guests are the important people in the relationship between hotel and guests. Apart from the duty manager on the day we stayed the attitude of other staff need to be challenged and some retraining put in place. We have complained to the owners about the less that satisfactory stay and the response has been positive but it is important that the hotel focuses on customer satisfaction and care.
The room was comfortable and there is off road parking, there is no evening meal facility but there is a bar. There are some great places to eat in town.

This place is located on the edge of town, so if you want to walk to the Champagne Houses it is a nice stroll. The hotel seems to be a converted mansion and the rooms are quite large. The bathtub in our room was quite large and had a shower over it. The hotel is beautiful, has a heated pool and the staff is very welcoming. It seemed to be a slow weekend when we were there so they were very attentive and turned down our room and helped us make dinner reservations both nights. The breakfast was a bit overpriced its decent and the room is beautiful. Location is great and overall it is a beautiful place! I would recommend people to stay here.

Six of us stayed at this 4 star (in my books) Hotel in Epernay. Four of us had great rooms - large well furnished and interesting if a little quirky decor the fourth room was not so good on the top floor - a little smaller and needed refreshing. Location was great and amenities generally good. Lots of trouble with WiFi which no one seemed able to resolve. Breakfast excellent and good value in a beautiful light and airy room. Very short on staff who consequently were frequently absent from the desk which made things a little difficult at times.

Room Tip: Request a room on the ground or first floor. They seem to be the better ones.

Stayed for two nights in the Suite ( amazing room ) but both nights had no turndown service despite being told there was. Staff made no effort to interact / converse / offer tourist advice. Suite was expensive but impressive, however it was the service that let the hotel down badly.

Room Tip: Suite is room 11

Great for walking to all the great champagne houses. Also good launching point for country locations. Rooms are very nice and a lovely breakfast to start your day. Concierge service is very helpful. They were challenged the time we visited to get the Wi-Fi working which made for a difficult time with location etc. Not sure if that is an ongoing issue, check other posts

My wife and I stayed at Villa Eugene whilst touring the Champagne region. An excellent hotel in all regards. The staff were welcoming, the decor is charming and very classic french. Not cheap but good value for the price paid.

We stopped just one night on our way to the south and could not fault the room staff or breakfast we would have stopped on the way back but it was full. The only downside was that they did not have a resturant but the very helpfull barman/porter made us a great salad which saved us having to go out after a long day and drive
