Very good tour with audio and English speaking guides. Very interesting and well organized.
The Champagne tasting was nice too.

Taste of Champagne is one topic, but learning about production of Champagne and this family, together with the impressive Cellar is another topic. So, this one is a MUST in the region. The cellar is impressive, nicely decorated and even if it is clear that Mercier did this to sell it is still impressive. Enjoy the tour!

It's the second best winery (first one is Moet & Chandon). The guided tour reminded me a lot of Disneyland.. You don't get the real 'cave' experience.. but it's nice if you'll be there for more than one day.

We did the train ride through the 18 km of cellars, followed by a champagne testing. Quite incredible; we just had no idea how champagne was made. And obviously we bought a bottle after! As it happens, the ride is cheaper on a week day by about 3 euros which may help.

A good place to start your champagne experience. Take the tour of the cellars (you go an a little train and listen to a pre-recorded guide). Finnish with a tasting from a professional and surprisingly interested barman. A more relaxed atmosphere than at the mother company of Moët down the road. Still - if you can, go out to the villages and visit one of the small, family cellars for contrast!
