“Very pleasant and up today”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

We stayed for 1 night and were positively suprised. The reception area didn't look 5/5, but rooms were very nice and breakfast was very good.
Only 5 min walk from railway station, shops and some restaurants.
Also parking space available, althought you have very narrow way to drive.

It was worth the money.

We spent 3 nights here in room 401 and really enjoyed it. The hotel is a perfect place to come home to after exploring the loire valley for the day. The room was spacious with a large king, pull out couch double, and a neat single bed tucked into an alcove. With a large outdoor deck, opening skylights, a clean bath, and central location this was a great find. The parking in a locked basement is an adventure in TIGHT parking, but all in all, this is a great place to come home to, and it offers great value.

The staff were friendly and hard-working, especially the girls on reception. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed every 3 days and the towels as required .A new bottle of water was provided daily and tea/coffee making facilities were available. Room was spacious
and clean. The water was very hot in the bathroom. There was very little storage space, however and the window was stuck shut, but the air-con worked well. It was a little annoying to have the fetch the key to the room safe each time we wanted access.
Breakfast staff struggled to cope with replenishment given 3 coach parties staying in one week, despite working very hard and also covering reception.
The small courtyard was great to sit in for a nightcap. The bar was poorly stocked with little choice and was not replenished as required.
Despite the defects mentioned, overall this is a good hotel to be recommended

We stopped in Tours overnight while traveling from Chateau Chambord to Chateau Chenonceau. Tours was only one hour from Chambord and only a 30 minute drive to Chenonceau which made it a good choice for a stop over. We didn't have much time to see much of the town but what we saw seemed charming and lovely as the town sits between two rivers. The hotel was good value at 89 euros and the room size was good as well. In the morning the hotel served an excellent breakfast for 10 Euros. The staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us with the door locks in our rental car when we had a problem getting the rear doors unlocked.

Good location in Tours. Reasonably priced and easily accessible parking in the garage below the hotel. The room was recently updated and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Our room also had a small balcony and a bathtub which were a nice surprise. There was a very large radiator in our room that was constantly gurgling, even though it was not in use- It was very distracting and ruined the otherwise fairly quiet environment.

Stayed here for 3 nights, arrived and didn't like our room ( strange decoration)so asked to be changed which was done without a problem, much better room. Good location but we got lost trying to find it the first time. Come out of the station (the side entrance, not the main entrance) and walk across the road , turn right and walk for 30 seconds and take the first street on your left- there is a bank on the corner. Then turn left again after a 20 sec walk and it is in this street. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Handy access to train station.

1:I made a reservation as this location is near to Tours Central staition and a good word
of mouth.
2:Walked by map,however couldn't find,so asked a walking young French lady,she didn't
this hotel's name (L'Artist),then she took a mobile phone and looked up,finally found.
She knew a old name "Harmonie".When you ask this hotel location, you should know 2
names.
3:Hotel itself is hushed in the street and the entrance is modest.
4:A near good restaurant "L'Odeon" is located whithin 5 min-walk.
