My boyfriend and I were very tired because we were travelling all day long and we want a place to rest and booked this hotel for 1 night. We arrived at night around 10 pm. The room was horrible, the colours on the wall, red, yellow and the carpet blue.It was a depressed room. We went out for fresh air because we didn`t want to stay in the room. When we came back, had a shower to sleep we couldn`t sleep because a HORRIBLE NOISE in the room like a buzzer very loud every 20 minutes and we didn`t sleep at all. Can you imagine a very loud sound like a buzzer every 20 minutes waiking up you? Horrible! We had a terrible day after that because my boyfriend had to drive in the morning and didn`t have a rest during the night. I complained to the receptionist and they didn`t or coundn`t do anything, because they didn`t know what was that and so do we. This hotel is horrible I will never stay there again!

Room Tip: All rooms are terrible because they are painted with terrible dark red, yellow and blue colours, ter...

About 10 mins walk out of the old part of Tours. It is a functional hotel, that allows dogs for a surcharge. Rooms are very basic and dated. We had no mini bar, no tea/coffee, no bath.
I wouldn't hurry back as it lacks charm and character.

Cheap accomodation and useful for late arrival / short stay. Friendly, English speaking staff who called us to ensure we had door entry code upon arrival. We chose the hotel due its parking availability, however, it was full upon our arrival(!) Luckily there was one parking space just across the street. Room was clean and value for money. We had the buffet breakfast next morning, wouldn't recommend it, as the automated coffee was not great and there was no hot meal options

Hotel has a pretty good location - about 10 minutes (max) walk into the old town area and with secure underground parking (which was the main criteria for choosing this hotel).

Receptionist was excellent - spoke perfect English, but she realised we wanted to try French, so spoke clear slow French for us to understand. Rooms were clean and small - fine for a couple of nights, but any longer and you'll run out of space.

Breakfast was self service buffet style and very poor. Pastries were awful (you could buy better in the frozen section at any UK supermarket). No fresh coffee either - just machine stuff. You'd be better off missing breakfast and having something in town or at one of the paege service stations.

If you're looking for an overnight stop over with parking and without frills this place will do the job. If you're looking for something better, stay elsewhere - this is 2* afterall.

Room Tip: 4th floor is currently being renovated, so ask for one of these from Summer 2012. Avoid breakfast i...

Great hotel with clean, quite large rooms, excellent aircon, OK breakfast (extra) and good staff. Nothing to complain about - a tip for nice and cheap local bars, just continue downhill and you have a nice selection of non-touristy pubs. It's a 15 min walk from the train station, not too bad at all.

This is a very good 2* hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in July; at the beginning and end of a cycling tour of the Loire valley. As we were travelling half-board I can't comment on prices. Given many of the previous negative comments I can only assume that the hotel must have upped its game or people have unrealistic expectations - this is a 2* hotel not a 4*.
Location - About 10 minute walk from the old town. Although situated on a road which is quite busy in the day there is very little noise at night. We had a second floor room overlooking the road and there was no disturbance.
Room - The rooms are small but adequate with good bathrooms. The decor in the first room needed refreshing; scuffed paintwork.
Breakfast - Excellent buffet with plenty of choice.
Restaurant - Very good food - the meal on the second night was the equal of any other meal we had.
Staff - Friendly and helpful - we had dealings with 6 or more so it was not just luck.

Well located, cheap hotel. However, not cheap enough to reflect what is a very depressing place. Staff were indifferent.
