The hotel is located around the back streets, on a one-way system. However the Sat Nav got us there without any problems. From the street the outside of the hotel looks drab and boring, once in the court-yard parking area the hotel was fine. Inside the hotel, we found the room to be excellent being clean, newly refurbished and tastefully decorated. The manager was very helpful and spoke good English. The location of the hotel is great to walk along the Loire River (about ½ mile) into the old town of Tours where you can fine a good selection of restaurants

Stayed for one night on our road trip south. The hotel has an off-street carpark which was free and useful for us. The hotel was really nice, the room was spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was super, the shower was huge and very enjoyable. The hotel staff were very nice and spoke English, we were given a map of Tours and were able to do an evenings sight seeing of the old town which was about ten minutes walk away. There was free wi-fi as well. Breakfast was extra, continental style, served (8-9.30am) in the conservatory which was very pleasant. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Owner was very helpful. Spoke very good english. Changed our room as we wanted a shower in ours. Also helpful with directions, including suggesting a short detour to see Amboise - fabulous village with a castle.

Our criteria in selecting this hotel were:
1. close to the old past of town and restaurants
2. Free Off street parking
3. Clean and comfortable
4. Reasonably priced
This hotel met all the above.
We arrived at around 7pm on a Friday evening and Christophe was welcoming, friendly and very helpful in suggesting a range of restaurants which he knew. The room and bathroom were adequate and very clean and the location is quiet. Parking is in an courtyard. It is about a 15 minute walk across the river to the Rue Colbert where most of the restaurants are, but after driving down from the ferry, this was a positive benefit.
Breakfast was more than adequate.

Room Tip: Downstairs rooms open onto the courtyard, rather like a motel making the rooms very easily accessabl...

The service outstanding. The owner went out of her way to make our stay a pleasure. Great price, free secure parking, a short walk across the bridge to the heart of Tours - wish we had stayed more than 1 night. The room was spacious enough to accomodate 3 comfortably. Ingenious plumbing even allowed for a bath.
