We absolutely loved our stay in this authentic house. Everything was great, from bed to the breakfast. The host was very sweet and helpful. Very well situated and wonderfully decorated. Would stay there again if I have a chance.

My husband and I visited this chambre d'hôtel in April. We received a warm welcome. Our room was delightful, clean, and contained everything we needed. A tray of tea was prepared for us in the dining room/lounge. Being a historic building, the spiral staircase would not suit everyone, but for us it's age was part of it's charm.

Room Tip: Only two rooms. Ours had four-poster bed and was enormous.

A charming and innovative B&B in a medieval guest house. The room was decorated with style, the service was friendly, the location excellent. ONly minus went for the lousy weather in Orléans but that not their fault.

Room Tip: Room No 1 requires less climbing!

We fell in love with this charming, quaint, and somewhat quirky little B & B and its lovely hostess, Eugenie. Yes, it really is 500 years old, but it was recently remodeled to retain its ancient flavor and charm. Just two guest rooms, each occupying an entire floor of the original house. Our room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed. It snowed our first three days there, and the room was so cozy we didn’t want to leave it! Large shared breakfast room (again, an entire floor). Open-beam ceilings, half-timbered walls, and squeaky floors were part of the charm. Note: the stairway is original, very steep and narrow. If you can handle stairs at all, these will be no problem if you take them one step at a time. A large suitcase will take a little longer.
Perfect French breakfasts of croissants, baguettes, and brioches fresh from a boulangerie just up the street; homemade yogurt; delicious jams; coffee pressed right at the table.
Ideal location close to shops, markets, excellent restaurants, and the beautiful historic center of Orleans.
Loved this place, and Orleans, so much we extended our stay from five to eight days.
Were able to park our car on the street at no charge.
But what made our stay especially memorable was the warm hospitality of Eugenie, Nichol, and Leo. They were perfect hosts who made us feel very special.
We will stay here the next time we are in Orleans. In fact, Les Trois Maillets is itself a reason to return.

This was the only guesthouse I ever stayed in which I didn't want to leave. The pictures already show with how much passion for detail everything is arranged. Of course it depends on what you expect from your accomodation. There is of course no 24h room service, mini bar, elevator or big breakfast buffet. But this house has something that many 5 star hotel claim and often lack. You feel like a "guest"! And thats because the owner family seems to be very dedicated to what they do. I stayed in room number 2 on 3rd floor, which has a mezzanine with two additional beds and a roof slope. The breakfast and lounge room is very cosy, lots of books and ilustrated books, nice lights and a comfortable sofa - very homely. The terrace must be really nice in summer. If I ever came back to Orléans I would try to come back here. The tram stop is just 3 minutes away and the the hotel is located perfectly close to the river, close to a supermarket, close to the city centre etc.

We stayed for five nights and our host Eugenie was gracious, thoughtful and attentive throughout, and our room was spacious and charming. The B&B is very central and you can walk around much of Orleans from there. Highly recommended!

We stayed (with husband and 2yr Daughter) for one night on the way to southern France. We managed to park free on the road outside the b&b, although I think we were very lucky. But there is a secure car park nearby.
We were warmly greeted and shown our spacious room with a travel cot. The staircase up to the rooms was an uneven wooden spiral, the floorboards from the room above were a little squeeky which exactly what you would expect from a 16th century house. That's why we liked it so much. If you like a standard box room chain hotel I wouldn't stay here. Breakfast in the garden at 7am was fresh and there was a great choice.
Tried to book for our return journey but sadly they were fully booked.
