Stayed two night at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. English is spoken. We stayed in the the Louis XIV room ( #109). It decorated in the period and quite spacious. Parking was available at a near by underground lot for a discount, paid through the hotel. We did book breakfast with them for one of our mornings. Buffet was plentiful and delicious.
There isn't an elevator, and we were pre warned about that. we packed a light bag for our two day stay and they offered to help with the bags. The hallways are a little small, so a smaller piece of luggage would be best. If you are in Orleans, stay here. It has so much charm and it is centrally located to the main square, which had a wonderful market going on while we were visiting.... old books, knick nacks, and FOOD.....all the wonderful foods.....More
