This b&b is housed in a great chateau! The rooms are tastefully decorated, and large, especially the Italian room, which could definitely be called a suite! The grounds are nice, and includes a swimming pool, which we definitely used when the temps were in the high 80's. There are also a number of walking paths through the woods, but we did not have time to truly explore these.
The hosts were quite friendly and were very accomodating when we called to let them know we would be arriving later than we had expected. They greeted us with offers to make us an evening snack, which included tomatoes freshly picked from their garden!
The only thing you should keep in mind is that this b&b is not conveniently located if you do not have a car. We were driving so it was not an issue, but it is not in Loches proper. It is quite convenient if you do have a car though, as it is in between Chinon and Loches, and makes for a nice stopover.
