The service, the table setting, the ambience and the cuisine combined to make a special memory for us. I was not hungry enough for three courses, sadly, electing mains, in my case of sweetbreads with the sweetest white asparagus i have ever tasted, and dessert, beautiful fruit sorbets. Michael couldn't resist the quail entree, a mains of pheasant in an adaptation of a middle eastern style, also followed by sorbet. The coffee was very good. Chinon, a delightful town, is served well by this restaurant. Treat yourself and enjoy a memorable evening.
