“You Won't Regret The Climb”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2012

After touring the cathedral, climb the 300 steps up the narrow/winding staircase. When you reach the top you will enjoy a nice view of the town and surrounding area. It was very breezy on top so watch your hats?

“Dizzy Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2012

We climbed all 300 (?) steps up into the tower and were rewarded with some amazing views of the city and surrounding countryside. I found it vertigo-inducing, but could not stop looking. Particularly fascinating were the highly detailed carvings visible at the tower landing, above us, and around. The cathedral artisans carved these images of beasts and flowers in a place where they would not be seen by anyone but God!

“A long winding walk up but worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2012

The old North Tower spiral stair is a bit tiring but the view is worth it, and the terrasse around the top level is interesting in itself. We thought it was great on a rainy morning in April -- I wouldn't even think about struggling up that stair on a busy day in July, scrambling over bodies, etc.
