We visited Bourges for just one night and were disappointed how few genuine restaurants there were (a number of bistros and bars). We stumbled across this one near the cathedral and were welcomed by Jean-Pierre who spent time talking about the menu and helping with wine choices. WE were followed by a good number of locals into this small restaurant. The fois gras was to die for and the main course tasty but not too big leaving room for the stunning dessert.
We had a problem with the bill (digital point in the wrong place) and Jean-pierre tracked us down to our hotel (we hadn't mentioned where we were) and ensured the error (which was in his favour) was sorted promptly.
We would recommend the RDC highly. Unless you book dont try to eat late here.
