Sadly the tomb was not open to the public when we visited. Perhaps building work is now finished. Walk around the outside of the Cathedral to marvel at the way it was built.

I walked to the top of the tower, good views, the stained glass windows are from the 12th century, this is one of the great cathedrals

Bourges cathedral is well worth the visit. The architecture is typical gothic and amazing. The stained-glass windows are stunning in beauty and detail and the astronomical clock is amazing.

Soaring vaulted ceilings and stunning stained-glass windows, well worth a visit and right in the centre of the old part of town.
