We picked this hotel because we wanted somewhere to stay overnight in walking distance of the Chateau and the old town. It is opposite the station so would be good for rail travellers but we were travelling by car and the hotel has no car park. We parked in a nearby side street for a few euros (free between 18.30 and 9 the next morning). The decor of the hotel is modern - mainly dark grey, red and white. We got a good deal on a standard room by booking on the hotel's website but were surprised that the first room we were given had no door between the bedroom and the loo! Luckily there were plenty of spare rooms at the time so we changed to one with a bit more privacy. Presumably the small size of the rooms and the location on the top (second) floor was because we opted for the cheaper room. There wasn't a hotel restuarant as such, but an Asian-themed brasserie at the front of the hotel. We didn't try it, preferring to eat something French elsewhere. We didn't take breakfast either as it was 13 euro each, preferrring to opt for fresh croissants and coffee from the bakery next door. It was all a bit lacking in character but the bed was comfy and the shower great. And there was free wifi. It wasn't at all French in ambiance but it was nice to have tea and coffee provided in the room - something we haven't experienced in many French hotels. And I preferred the hotels soft pillows and light duvet to the rock-hard bolsters and itchy blankets that sometimes come with more characterful hotels in France.

Hotel has all of the basic amenities, clean room, quiet, etc. Only problem is that it is about a 20 min. walk from downtown & some of that is uphill and up a long flight of stairs on the way back. Very close to the train station if that is needed. Hotel staff were very helpful and hotel offer a relatively inexpensive laundry service. This is definately helpful is on a extended trip.

This hotel is across the street from the train station, close to the Chateau, but an uphill hike back if you walk to the center of town. You won't feel like you're staying in a quaint French town; it's a new hotel with a modern decor. The ceilings in our room were sloped, which made it a little awkward, but the bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast is nothing special, though the coffee machine produces good cappuccino. If I returned to Blois, I'd look for a place with a little more charm and character.

This is a new hotel and is not yet sign posted by the city or appear accurately in the GPS system. this and the fact the hotel is hidden behind a large well lit up restaurant makes it extremely difficult to find.
The hotel has an unusual layout, no reception as such and the breakfast room is on the first floor amongst the bedrooms.
All the hotel signage and tourist information offered is in french and as this is a tourist hotel in a tourist town dificulties were experienced.
We had a junior suite that was meant for two adults and two children. It was fine for two adults, add any extra people and you would have a very uncomfortable cramped situation. The room appeared to be unfinished, no towel rails or shelving in the bathroom and very little room for toiletries. The bath room was big enough to have been made very functionable..
the main room had no drawers, shelves,or cupboards and a very small wardrobe. the bed was comfortable.
The service experienced in both reception and breakfast room was not good. They appeared to be short staffed and were hard to find at their stations. We spent one morning having breakfast totally alone. No other guests and no staff. The phone was not always answered and the reception not always attended.
Parking was secure off site but required a remote device to open the entry doors which had to be returned to reception after each use. As the reception was not always manned this was also dificult. There was no call button at the reception so we simply walked around calling out hoping someone would hear us.
I would say this hotel has some fine tuning to do and until this is complete I would recommend you stear clear.

Room Tip: avoid standard rooms, they appeared to be very small

A nice, new hotel with comfortable rooms, modern design, in a good location close to the chateau and the railway station. But a number of things weren't quite as promised.

The 'Privilege' room was smaller than the 25 m2 advertised; there was no minibar, the bathrobes were missing in action, and the free bicycles turned out not to exist, because they hadn't yet been delivered. (We had a lot of trouble renting bikes elsewhere, which cost us several hours.)

The free wifi initially didn't work; a receptionist said it couldn't be fixed and blamed it on the weather. (Tip: It worked fine after I insisted she reset the modem.)

None of these are unforgivable--but it's not a cheap hotel, and you expect to get what you pay for.

Room Tip: Even when you book a 'Priviliege' room, it may not have a bath
