Loved this Chateau, right in the midst of town and in such a beautiful setting. Money is being directed to update the grounds (which is needed - they do not compete with other chateaux nearby).

This Chateau is rated 3 stars. I was expecting the Chateau to be bigger. The grounds needed to be maintained, the grass needed to be cut, the water around the Chateau was dirty, no flowers or anything of beauty.

Very attractive chateau set in water, worth a visit. Reasonably priced for a few hours visit. We enjoyed a delicious Italian ice cream in the town - probably cheaper than an ice cream at the chateau! Lots of large groups of visitors, which if you can avoid you will enjoy the visit more!

The gardens are nice but not spectacular but the castle provides great photo opportunities and the amenities are clean and usable.

The access to the roof space is quite different and worth the admission price alone. The visit includes a guide book in your language of choice and is concise and informative.

The old castles were cold and thy used reed matting as instillation. In some of the rooms this has been done and how it was made was displayed. I had read about it and was fascinated by the applications.

The castle is in good repair with some amazing displays

Well worth the visit

We arrived an hour before closing, and only the gardens were open, at a reduced price of 3 euros, but the gardens and view of the chateau from the pond are plenty.

There are some interesting photo opportunities walking in the gardens, with the various rivers running and tumbling beneath buildings. Be aware that depending on the time of day there may be mosquitos lurking in the ample pools and tree cover.
