Small house from the XVI century close to the castle, nice place to be in winter with the chimney and in summer with the terrasse. Mixing pink modern kitchen and authentic old walls this creates a very nice atmosphere in the middle of the the loire valley. The food is very good with interseting surprises (gigot cooked 7hours - crumble with the fruits from the garden -salad from the garden - tajine- blanquette de veau a la vanille........home made tiramisu or lemon tarte...).
After lunch you can easily go and visit the castle.
Pay attention everything is fresh and cooked for a limitedbnumber of customers so limited places. There is only 5 to 6 tables inside

Old furniture , nice garden , dedicated food , a lot of class; however , the bill is relatively high!
Be careful on wines and sweets ....

It was hot so we ate in the garden at the back of the restaurant, which was lovely with white tables and a pink theme (parasol, candles etc) very pretty. The owner is a jovial and helpful man who takes time to chat. His wife, who does the cooking took time to explain how she made the clatifous, (which was a starter, with salmon or with scallops). The only other time I had eaten clatifous it was solid of the consistency of toad in the hole, but this was light with the consistency of a good custard tart. Wines were local and not over priced. A nice ambience and a welcoming host. Recommended
