500 years of Leonardo de Vinci. Great exhibition in wonderful surroundings. This man was a genius and the exhibition tells you that! Well as out in a beautiful small chateau and extensive gardens this is really worth a visit. Plan to spend at least two hours.

We felt the property had been over restored to be honest but it was an interesting place to explore.
We were surprised and disappointed that none of Leonardo's paintings were displayed there in any form. They would have beautifully adorned some of the bare walls although his engineering inventions were fascinating.

This is a beautifully preserved chateau with extensive and lovely gardens. The latter cleverly display a number of Leonardo’s inventions. Well worth a visit.

We did not have a lot of free time to look at the last residence of Da Vinci's life. It is an attractive and heavily restored building that gives you a sense as to how people lived in the period of his life. Most important is that the museum has models of war machines, bridges and other "inventions" based on Leonardo's designs/writings?drawings. The recreations of these items is on display in the lower areas of the main house. The upper floors are reserved for the more historic displays as well as a layout of what Da Vinci's off ice may have looked like,

We had seen a show in Rome a few years ago of his works, but it was not as good as this exhibition. You'll be completely amazed at how ahead of his time some of the designs were, and at how many of his dreams have become reality! One can only wonder what a man with his creative mind could have done had he been born in the 20th century! We would be be so far advanced from where we are today!

We only had a few minutes to look at the grounds. What we saw looked good!

The price for the visit is very reasonable, cheap if you have time to look and the grounds!

This was the last home of Leonardo da Vinci. He lived here for the last three years of his life. It is nicely staged as his home, and is also a museum of da Vinci’s works. It is very well done and filled with models of his inventions. There are both miniatures and full sized renditions.

The gardens are full of hidden gems by Leonardo. It is a very nice stroll

Highly recommended and suggest 2-4 hours. There is so much to see!!
