We spent about 4 hours here, mostly because we brought along our art supplies and painted while sitting in Da Vinci's gardens. It was a wonderful experience. We toured the chateau, which could be quite crowded but not the time we went. The house, aside from furniture etc, was filled with all sorts of Da Vinci's inventions, art, and music. It took probably 2 hours to tour the house and the grounds. Some life-sized replicas of his inventions are installed around the grounds. Very nice to see all that he did. We also had some lunch at the restaurant there, which was very good, and not too pricey. This is well worth your time.
