My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2012, we came here straight from our wedding for the 1st leg of our honeymoon & we couldn't have been happier with our accommodation choice! We were exhausted & Madame Sylvie was fantastic, she helped with luggage, put my bouquet into a vase and left us to rest. Perfect friendly service/ atmosphere but in no way overly intrusive.
We stayed in the Couture Room which is wonderfully decorated with choice antique furniture, it has an extremely comfy bed, lovely little seating area & ample space for suitcases etc, the double french doors lead straight out to the beautiful garden & swimming pool, perfect for a lazy sunny afternoon with cheese & wine from the local shops. The bathroom is very spacious with separate shower & big bath and has twin sinks as well as lovely fluffy towels & robes.
As a bit of a 'clean-freak' I was delighted to find the whole place totally immaculate, the linen smelt beautifully fresh everyday!
Breakfast comprises of fresh bread, croissants with jams, fresh coffee & cereals, fruits etc, all very typically French & delicious.
Located in the heart of Amboise, all main sights, restaurants etc are a 5-7min walk away.
I really couldn't recommend this place enough, it's bliss, beautiful & charming, the photo's on their website do not do it justice!!

Room Tip: Go with Madame Sylvie's restaurant recommendations - the 2 we went with were absolutely fantasti...

We stayed in the Nature room which is a separate villa on the property. It faces the pool and garden and has a bedroom area, sitting area, and very nice bathroom with a tub and shower. It has private parking and is within walking distance of everything in Amboise. Madam Sylvie was very friendly and helpful. She made excellent restaurant suggestions. We especially liked L'Epecerie. She also provided easy to follow driving directions to chateaus in the Loire region. A very good breakfast was available each morning in the main house. I suggest booking as far ahead as you can because this B & B is very popular for good reason. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again if I returned to the region.

My husband and I spent 2 nights with Madame Sylvie and her husband. We stayed in the Room Couture which is in the main house. It has a large sitting area and very spacious modern bathroom with a spa shower, tub (bath salts provided), and private toilet within the bathroom. It overlooks the beautiful garden and pool. Tea service is provided in the room. There is an allocated parking spot in an enclosed and locked area behind the house.

Madame Sylvie was a great hostess and made us feel very welcome. She was very helpful from making reservations, to providing directions to the house, dining recommendations and travel tips in the area.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a large selection of food (different breads including croissants and pain au chocolat, different flavors of marmalade, fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses, yogurt, cake, etc) along with French press coffee and orange juice.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay here and highly recommend it.

We stayed at the house for two nights. Everything was very comfortable, and very clean. Madam Sylvie was the best hostess, she was very helpful with all the recommendations and very welcoming without being overbearing. I even told my husband that i felt like we are visiting our very distant relatives. When booking the hotel I looked at the pics first and was not impressed, I think the photos do not do the justice to the place as it was very charming, the garden and the pool area was very well taken care and felt very cozy. The room had all the necessities: internet, comfy bed, coffe/ tea maker , blow dryer. The house is located in the middle of the city center with the walking distance to restaurants , chateau, etc., very charming city , my favorite in Loire Valley. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to others.

My husband and I just returned from France after spending two nights with Madame Sylvie and her husband. We stayed in the nature room which was a villa with a roomy bedroom area, sitting area and large modern bathroom with a separate bath and shower stall. It faced the pool and was adjacent to the main house. The rooms were decorated very tastefully with antiques and beautiful crisp white curtains on the shuttered windows. The room has free wifi as well. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful with homemade breads, cheeses and jams. She was available to answer all questions and her restaurant suggestions were fantastic! The location is perfect and the secured parking is a plus! It was a perfect getaway that I will remember forever! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay the third night as it was booked.

We stayed with Sylvie, the proprietress, for three nights and loved every minute. First off, she is a perfect hostess, anticipating any and all questions and needs. Our room was offset from the house, spacious and comfortable. Sylvie's breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. This B&B is within simple walking distance to the town with all its shops, restaurants and charms. We were also ideally located to visit the various Grand Chateaux in the Loire Valley.

We highly recommend staying with Sylvie and allowing her infectious charm take over....

Room Tip: Ask for the largest room which is separated.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the Royal Wedding weekend and couldn't have wished for anything nicer or better in any respect. This gorgeous boutique B and B (only 2 rooms) is SUPERB! Madame Sylvie and her husband (sorry I never discovered his name) were the most charming, friendly and yet discreet of hosts. Our room was amazing, furnished with antiques but not overly fussy and very stylish. Bathroom to die for. Wonderful breakfast, given that this is France and they don't do bacon and egg. Could not find any fault with this establishment, will certainly return.
