“Lovely organ!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

Nice cathedral although since I've seen the one in Albi and the one in Le Havre I'm afraid nothing compares! There is a lovely organ though - huge and decorative. The roof has coloured tiles typical of the region. Don't pass by without taking a look inside!

“See the Crypt!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2012

The Cathedral is special because Saint Benigne is the patron Saint of the city. He evangelized much of Cote d"Or supposedly.
The crypt, which costs a couple of euros, is well worth the visit. It is surprisingly extensive and going down there gives one the feeling they have entered the Middle Ages.

“A Guide to highlights of Dijon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

When visiting Dijon last June, we used the services of a most delightful Guide, Sherry Thevenot, who was able to take us to parts of the Cathedrale Saint-Benigne that are not open to the public (the acoustics in the Crypt were superb for the musicians she provided) as well as to some other wonderful places in that lovely city. The 'Well of Moses' was a particular highlight as was the devine chocolate tasting. I would highly recommend Sherry's services and she can be reached at sherry.thevenot@gmail.com
