We stopped off here for lunch while wandering round Dijon and I wish we had gone somewhere else. The location is good (although much of central Dijon is currently plagued by construction work for a new tramline) but the food here was disappointing. The place seemed to be trying to emulate American cuisine - in France! They even offered fajitas! My cheese omelette was OK but it was too big (5 eggs!) and the chips were tasteless. Also expensive at EUR 9.50. Friends had steak which was tough and stringy and even more pricey at EUR 18. Service was friendly enough, though.

Decor is beautiful, we loved the books in the stair treds and the printing press paper hanging from the ceiling. Really lovely space to settle in and meet friends.
But having taken one look at the menu I thought, well this is a fries and frozen food place then. The menu is enormous and for some reason wants to cater for all tastes. "The grandes salades", "the Rarebits" "the burgers" "the meat" "the fish" "the mussels" "the wok" "the pasta" - you get the picture.
We ordered two different types of mussels and what arrived was barely edible. The mussels were old, gritty and disgusting, the chips (as previous reviewers have noted) were cold!
The wine by the glass was OK, but a little expensive for the area and there wasn't much choice.
Such a shame as I really wanted to enjoy this place, I would recommend that they trim the menu down and get some quality ingredients, but you know what, the place was packed so they must be doing something right, just not the food!

Great little place on Place Darcy suffering a bit from the nonstop construction underway. Stopped here for coffee and a roll while in town. Service was fast and attentive with some staff who speak English. The coffee was great, where in France is it not? Enjoyed watching the locals stopping in and conversing with the staff. It's a good sign when the locals frequent the place.

This is your best bet for a Sunday night when everywhere else is closed. No reservation was needed but the restaurant was busy. Staff were efficient but didn't fuss over us. The menu is extensive but informal. Burgers were excellent, salad not so ... Pitcher of house red was very drinkable.

Ate out here with our kids on the recommendation of friends.
I shared a meal with my husband as the portions were huge.
Kids had burger and pizza and needless to say, couldn't finish it!
Service initially was a bit slow but we were eating quite early (6pm), however the waiter turned it around and was very good in the end.
They have a menu in English if you ask.
An interesting eye fest and TV's on the walls with music channels.
