I can not really add anymore than what other reviewers have already written about this little place. We had such a wonderful night here, the host was a delight, the food delicious and the place had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great start to our visit in Dijon.

“Very friendly bouchon in next to Palais de Justice”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

This is a cute inexpensive bouchon in the heart of Dijon.
We had fried Camembert and coq au vin.
The host is extremely welcoming and generous in his translation of the menu and even a free after dinner liquer.
He made us feel like family.
Definitely worth a visit.

“Brilliant Little Restaurant”
Reviewed May 29, 2014 via mobile

A typically French restaurant, the place started to fill as soon as it opened. The chap front of house was wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming and helpful. His English was not fluent but was ten times better than my French I'm ashamed to say.
We had mains and deserts for 20 Euro each plus a bottle of pinot noir for 22 Euro.
The food was French style and excellent as was the wine for the price.
One of the desert choices was a cheese plate with three local cheeses at no extra cost which is rare back home.
We had a great experience here and would recommend without question.

“Excellent food, great atmosphere”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

Wonderful food at a very decent price, three course dinner for two, plus three drinks was 69 euros. The food was amazing. Simple French fare at its best with wonderful sauces. The host/server is friendly, helpful, and funny. He knows most of the customers well and shakes hands in farewell with newcomers. Make a reservation, he was turning people away because the place was booked. I cannot eat gluten (celiac) and they accommodated easily, mention it when you make the reservation and they will make something special. The tartin de tomatoes was wonderful, according to my husband. I had the chicken prepared in Madame Gaston fashion, amazing. We had the coupe du Palais and coupe du Burgundy for dessert, also wonderful. The wine list is not extensive but very reasonably priced and more than enough options. I don't know if they speak English, but he was so friendly that I wouldn't let that stop you!

“Delicious and comforting!”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

My husband and I just went to this restaurant last night during our stay in Dijon. Everything was fantastic! We started with the escargots - cooked perfectly - as well as the oeufs en maurette - a first time dish for both of us that was so good that we want to try to learn to make it at home! We then split the com au vin and the poulet supreme (chicken in a buttery broth) - bot of which were great but very filling (go hungry!). We know virtually zero French and our hostess I English, but she was incredibly nice and we felt very at home thoughout the dinner - a rarity in France at times! Our whole dinner including 2 glasses of wine came out to about €63 - not bad at all for the quality of dinner we had.

I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Dijon!
