Very friendly and helpful reception.
Very central location opposite Galeries Lafayette (15-20 minutes walk from the station?) Windows are soundproofed and there is air conditioning, so you could have a reasonably quiet night on the street side, but I chose a back room as I like to have the window open!
The rooms and facilities are basic - no fancy decor, no wardrobes (just a hanging rail) - but very well thought-out. With bare white walls, my room was nice and light and I liked the good-sized table in the window recess. The bed was fine, and so was the bathroom. My only problem was with the hot water: normally it was nice and hot, but just when I decided to have a shower, it was almost cold.
The door-code system meant you could come and go as you pleased without carrying keys around.
The breakfast area is a bit small, but the buffet breakfast itself was quite good. You have to go elsewhere for your other meals, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
This is a basic hotel - no lounge, no bar, etc. - so would not be suitable for a lengthy stay but it's good value for a short stay.
