Helen is a generous host. She welcomed us with a basket of treats, including wine, bread and cheese. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is perfectly positioned with sun all day and we were able to park right outside. Just be aware of the low ceiling from the kitchen to the living area. The bakery is excellent and the Wednesday morning market has all the stalls you need to buy fresh produce. One of the reasons we chose Les Rosiers was to dine at Ferme de La Ruchotte, lunch only on weekends, for a true farm experience. It was special to be part of a small village for a week, especially the lovely long days with sunset at 10:15pm.
The village is well located being in the heart of wine country which Burgundy surely is. Plenty to do and go see and / or taste nearby. A comfy house which is well appointed.
We had a great stay at Helen's cottage. The arrival was smooth and the welcome basket was very appreciated. The cottage is located in a perfect French village with a Tabac, cafe and an excellent boulangerie.
We spent 8 nights here. Cycling and hiking. Lots of trails and peaceful roads to cycle.
The cottage had everything we could ask for-2 toilets too. Wifi was excellent and the parking very convenient. The cottage has a little sit out for an evening glass of wine.
We hope to come back again. Thanks helen
This is a beautiful home in a beautiful village. It's spacious and well appointed. Unlike some places we've stayed in, the kitchen had plenty of appliances. The kitchen/dining room is spacious and the living area is huge. There is a sitting area outside - which is ideal for a glass of wine and some cheese, or for eating your dinner. The bedrooms are big and so is the bathroom. I highly recommend Les Rosiers.
Perfect! Helen met us on arrival to show us round and answer any questions, she also left a welcome pack of essentials to tide us over initially.
The facilities are great, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, laundry room, large sitting room with very comfortable sofas, freesat TV, wifi, the master bedroom is enormous.
Would stay there again if in the area.
Great location to explore the area, Beaune, Dijon, Autun and more. Well appointed home in a quiet village within easy reach of most popular places. Helen was helpful upon arrival, and house was as we saw it on the web site. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable, clean and nice to come back to after a long day of being a tourist. Maxi super market just a short drive away for essentials, but also go to the Carrefour by Beaune for a larger selection, especially seafood. Small patio, but comfortable in the early evening with a glass of wine.
Kitchen equipped with all essentials. Thanks Helen for the arrival goodies. Parking is a little bit away from the house, top of the hill by the church was the best spot. A small hike up to the church. Unfortunately the local bakery closed for good, so Maxi's is your closest choice for bakery goods. We hope to come back again. You really need to duck through the hallways between the kitchen and living room, Dutch folks are tall, thinking the French aren't so.

We stayed here for a week and could have happily stayed longer. The house is extremely comfortable. The lounge is exactly as shown on the photo's, with comfortable settees and TV with English channels, and a door leading onto the patio. Upstairs, the main bedroom is large with a comfortable bed and plenty of space for clothes and shoes. We didn't use the second bedroom but it had a double bed and again looked comfortable. The bathroom, was large and modern with both shower and bath. The kitchen had everything you need, and off that a utility room with a washing machine and freezer and storage space, and off that a second toilet. Outside the patio was shaded at one end with vines and a table, and at the other end, a second table and garden chairs, and always sunshine. Really pleasant to sit in the evenings. You can park right outside. Helen was very helpful and left a welcome basket of bits and pieces like milk, cheese, butter etc; and a bottle of wine. All in all a fantastic week and we would certainly stay again.
