We stayed at the Brit Hotel au Grand St Jean for three nights. We had a large room with two double beds and air conditioning (but it was cool so we didn't need it) The bathroom was a nice size and had a great shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. The location was perfect! Very easy walking distance into town and to many shops and restaurants. There's a large Casino grocery store a few doors down in a shopping area set back off the street with a number of low cost, fast food options. The hotel has secure parking at the hotel for 6 Euro's a night that we used. The staff is incredibly friendly and always had a smile and a greeting for us. We can't imagine a better place to stay for the price in Beaune!

Let me start by saying I would recommend this property to my family and best friends! I didnt experience anything that was negative about this property and staff.
Right from the beginning we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome from the front desk staff member. He was so friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of interacting with him several times over the 24 hours we were there and he was always professional and helpful and always smiling. You don't find that too often these days.
We had a room with 2 twin beds and it was very spacious, the high ceilings helped. The bathroom was huge and the room was spotless.
The breakfast was wonderful. Probably more expensive than at a cafe but worth it expecially if you like meat and cheese as well. They had a great selection. Of food. Make sure to try the cassis, strawberry and cherry jam...a tasty combo!

Room tip: We had rooom #19 which was very quiet.

My husband and I spent one night in this hotel. The location is very good easy walking distance into the pretty town and visit the historic hospital. The room is average not very big and needs updating. The bathroom was great the hot water pressure was very welcome. Not special though location and bathroom are good. I think charging for Onsite parking is a bit rich it should be free

Inexpensive accommodation; roomy enough; very comfortable bed; friendly staff; easy walk (<1 km) from station and easy walk to the centre of town. Wi-Fi worked well - what more could you want?!

Our room overlooked the street but wasn't noisy from the street because of double glazed windows. Did get noise from adjacent room which included a squeaky flour board - not a problem if you were asleep, but too loud if you weren't and wanted to get back to sleep!

Would stay there again.

The en suite appeared to be quite new and it was very clean and functional. It was close to many restaurants and easily accessible into the main city. There is a large supermarket behind which was handy too. There was no provision to make tea or coffee in the room or in the foyer. The manager let us take some of the hot water from the kitchen however so that was very good. The location is very close to the old town

Room tip: We asked for, and received, a room with a view over the nearby streets.
