My wife and I spent 3 nights at La Terre D'or and loved every minute of it. Jean Louis and Vincent are incredibly hospitable and wonderful hosts. We stayed in the main building, which was very clean and comfortable. Jean Louis and Vincent were eager to assist us from making dinner recommendations and reservations, charting out day trips, and educating us on the history of Beaune and Burgundy. We especially recommend hiring Vincent for a tour of the vineyards and local villages - he is incredibly knowledgeable. Our favorite part of each day was sipping local wine and snacking on cheese with other travelers in the evenings before dinner. The view is magnificent. We are already looking forward to a return trip!

Thank you for your kind words. We had a great day together touring the vineyards, charming villages and authentic winemakers. We had a lovely walk in the vineyards, tasted some grapes and enjoyed the autumn colours.

We stayed at La Terre D'or 7th to the 10th August, what a wonderful 4 day stay.
The place is amazing, tranquil, relaxing with wonderful views stretching far over Beaune, its made even more wonderful with the careful attention to detail and service from Vincent and Jean Louis. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and Vincents knowledge of wine/ vineyards is outstanding, very interesting.

Breakfast on the terrace is so relaxing - Vincent makes sure you have everything you need but all you need is to sit there and admire the amazing view in front of you!!!!

We met a great group of people, that's what's unique about this boutique find - you get a great mix of people from all over the world, sit and have breakfast together or sit and enjoy wine/ cheese and bread on an evening.... Chris and Liz, great to meet you guys and look forward to seeing you both again (Thanks for the tickets Chris)

The grounds are immaculate with Jean Louis constantly working/ building every day, you can tell how much pride he has in this wonderful place. The art/ sculptures around are unique, made by Vincent's wife - these add to the ambiance of the place making this stand out from all the rest.

The spa was amazing, 2 bottles of wine consumed one evening in there!!!!!

We will be back and as agreed Vincent, Darren would love to cook for you and your family when we see you again!!! P.s He said thanks for all the coffee's!.....

If your thinking about going here, don't hesitate get it booked....

Dear, my father and I loved having you around, you are such an enthusiastic and joyful couple! Always happy with good wine and food, it was a great pleasure to see you having a bottle of wine and some cheese on the terrace before dinner. I admired your great interest in French food and wine culture. I remember your offer to cook for us next time... and I won't forget it! Please come back as soon as you can!

Stayed at La TERRE d' Or recently for four nights. We just loved the place as well as the owner Jean Louis and his son Vincent. Located on a hillside overlooking the town about a mile away. You can walk to town but gets hilly near the property. Stayed in the separate two bedroom cottage with traveling friends. Worked out just perfect for us. B&B type of accommodations with available breakfast but no dinners. Owners will go out of their way to make reservations for you or give you directions to all the sights in Burgundy. Vincent is also available for private tours.

Do vist their web site as too many other details to list.

Enjoy as we did.

Room Tip: You can rent the entire larger house or individual rooms. We stayed in a separate "Winemaker's Cottage" that had a small kitchenette that was great for breakfast.

Thank you so much for your very informative and positive feedback. It was a pleasure welcoming you. Staying 4 nights allowed you to visit both Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits with no rush. We gave you some of our best addresses (winemakers, restaurants and places to visit) and it was nice to speak about your day each evening.

We just spent four nights at La Terre d'Or and we agree with each and every accolade given by past guests. Jean Louis is the French version of the Energizer Bunny. When he is not working with his guests to make their visit to Burgundy as nice as possible, he is working on his lovely property. His love of his business is very evident in all he does. His son Vincent also helped us a great deal. Both were a real pleasure to deal with!
We stayed in the larger of the two private cottages - extremely comfortable and beautiful. It's perfect for two couples or family.
I regret that we didn't plan a winery tour with Vincent, especially because it was harvest time.
They recommended great restaurants in town. Do not miss La Ciboulette. We dined there our last night but would have gone twice if we had been able to get in. Book ahead through Jean Louis or Vincent. Delicious food, nice atmosphere at a reasonable cost.
I can't imagine staying any other place in Beaune. I hope to have the pleasure of another visit to La Terre d'Or!

Thank you ! We like this place so much that we want to share it with our guests. To be special, it has to be alive, so we keep improving it by ourselves years after year. This winter, we are building a new stone shed, upgrading 2 bathrooms and 1 room. In spring, we wil build the small waterfall up the swimming pool. We will show you a lot more when you come back.

We spent 3 nights at Terre D'or, and we could not enjoyed a better time in Burgundy. It overlooks the vineyards and the city of Beaune, which sparkles at night. Our hosts, Vincent and his father Jean-Louis were warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed meeting the other guests in the Inn's main gathering space.

One of the most entertaining trips we have ever encountered was organized by Vincent. We booked a wine tour with another couple, with Vincent as our guide and 'chauffeur'. As this was the harvest season, we drove right into the vineyard fields and met the grape pickers. Vincent happened to meet the wine maker himself, and he invited us immediately to see the 'crushing' and have a tasting. We spent the next 90 minutes at the winery watching the sorting, crushing, testing and tasting, walking on catwalks...and even saw a 'grape stomper' gently breaking open the red grapes in his bare feet like it was 500 years ago ! Vincent himself was impressed and he made it happen. We had a great day touring with him.

There's a reason Terre D'or is #1, it's a charming place in a breathtaking location, with gracious hosts. You will be very happy here.

What a great experience we had together ! Thank you for booking me for a guided tour, it also gave me the opportunity to enjoy the grape harvest atmosphere with you. Great weather, unexpected encounter with a winemaker who opened the vat room just for us and explained it all. We had the chance to try the juice before fermentation...
