The hotel is definately not family friendly with a busy and noisy car pak situated in the centre of the hotel that is noisy late in the evening with arrivals and early in the morning with departures. Its claim to be accepting of dogs is misleading since they are particularly unwelcoming. The rooms are poorly maintained and unclean, the staff generally unpleasant and the adoption of an evening curfew adds to spoiling what should be a very pleasant trip through France. Our advice, find somewhere else to stay unless you're desperate, expect to be treated like a second class citizen if you arrive with british plates! Not a pleasant experience.

Excellent value and location. Small room in need of update but clean and well priced. The breakfast was overpriced but a nice spread and good coffee. Overall, outstandingly helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Will be back.

We stayed here for one night as a stopover to Provence. It wasn't ridiculously overpriced like some that we had quotes for in Beaune. We had booked two rooms, one room was delightfully decorated, the other room was a little dated in its decor but it was clean with all facilities supplied. The breakfast was typically continental, cheeses, bread, jam, fruit and yoghurts. The managers/owners were friendly upon our arrival and when we checked out they even did weather checks for us on the area that we were traveling to. The location is nothing more than a 10 minute walk, less depending on the speed that you walk at. Don't overlook this hotel based on other reviews, we are discerning travelers to say the least.

My husband, two friends and I stayed her for two nights. It reminds me of a b&b on a bigger scale. The rooms are all decorated differently but all very nice. Location is good for walking into town and we enjoyed the breakfast. Can't beat it for the price

We stayed here in a family room on the way back from our holiday in Italy. It is easy to find and a very short walk into the centre of town, 10 mins as opposed to the 25 mins quoted by another reviewer. The staff are wonderful, friendly and happy. The rooms are clean but very tired and a bit tatty. Our shower had to be hand held as the wall bracket was broken and the toilet handle was missing although it could (thankfully) still be flushed by using the piece that should have been under the handle. The room was incredibly hot in the night and I did not open the window as we were on the main road. Breakfast was a good continental selection. The ensuite in the room our children had was so small that the 2 strapping lads would have to shower in our rather cranky one.
Clean, friendly and good location but tired and in need of a good update throughout. Good price though.

We were looking a a stop over, central to Beaune Centre on a trip to the Alps. The hotel was easy to find and had great, secure parking (which was chargable). The rooms were very basic and small with some opening directly into the courtyear (ie, have an outside door). I felt the hotel was rather expensive for what it offered. The breakfast was very basic but at E7.90 per head did not represent good value. The staff however, were freindly and helpful.

Room Tip: If you don't mind small, I think the rooms that open onto the courtyard were nice and quiter tha...

We were not looking for a glam place for our stay in Beaune, and boy did we ever get what we were looking for! The location is great--easy walking distance to town, and since it's in a sort of courtyard you don't hear the road noise (too much). But the room was so tiny that we had to put our suitcase in the bathroom! Also, the maintenance is poor--only one power outlet in the room worked, and the lighting was horrible. Pillows on the bed were poor, too. Parking is ample, but it's charged at €5 a night--not something that was made clear when I booked.

One thing that was particularly annoying was that we arrived a bit early to occupy our room, so we just left our car and walked around town; when we came back to the hotel to put some things away in the car before going to lunch we found the gates locked, the doors locked, and no one around for another 90 minutes. No one had given us the code to get back in so we were essentially stranded. Why couldn't they have told us that the place is locked tight when the concierge goes to lunch?
