“One of our favorite restaurant experiences EVER”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

What a wonderful place this is. The food, of course, is beyond wonderful (and gorgeous to look at!), but the ambiance, service, warmth and friendliness is what puts this place over the top. Charming Olivier explaining each dish was a treat. He created such anticipation with his excitement and passion for food, and we were never disappointed. The cheese cart blew us away. Do not miss if you are in Auxerre. The patio on a warm summer evening is heavenly.

“Absolutely OUTSTANDING!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

We (4 adults) dined here in July 2013 during our tour of France, Italy, Spain and England. We ate in many restaurants during our 5 weeks of travel and are still raving about this one. It was 4 hours of true bliss. Every single morsel was incredible as was the service and the presentation.
Between the 4 of us, we all have very different taste. It is very impressive that we all continue to talk about this place. One course after another was sheer perfection. Worth every penny.
A fabulous experience!

“Superb! You'll love it!”

A meal at Le Jardin Gourmand is a true culinary experience, resembling nothing you'll find anywhere else. Each dish is a a gorgeously designed work of art containing the best and freshest of ingredients, many of which come from the chef's very own vegetable garden, while meat and fish are shipped in by top suppliers from across France. The décor, both in the dining room and the garden, is chic and elegant. The perfectly bilingual maître d delivers lively and detailed explanations of the food as well as welcome advice on fine, unadulterated wines for every budget.

“Quality in every detail”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We went to this restaurant on our holiday in Burgundy, and the meal, service and decor was the best experience we had the whole week. If we should go back to one of the restaurants it would definitively be this, before the Michelin starred restaurants L'Esperance and Cote St. Jaques.

Fresh food, good wine pairings and a enthusiastic and skilled head waiter.

The starters were succulent and colourful, maybe a bit too inventive, but the veal was to die for, and cheeses and desserts matches any top restaurant.

“C'est magnifique!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

Travelling through France we checked trip advisor for a good restaurant in Auxerre and Le Jardin Gourmand was the top pick so we paid a visit there. I'm glad we did ! This is a superb restaurant with a very charismatic maitre'd who is fluent in several languages and enthusiastic about the food. Almost all the produce is sourced locally or from their own garden and celebrates all that is good in burgundy. If you are visiting Auxerre don't miss this wonderful restaurant :-)
