We stayed for one night in August 2013. Parked free in the hotel (only 4 spaces though and one disabled space).
Our room was on the ground floor, overlooking the entrance, so to get any privacy we had to draw the heavy curtains (not ideal because the room was quite dark as it was!) The place has 'old school charm' shall we say. We didn't mind this but the place was quite gloomy, which was a shame. The bathroom was large enough although bizarrely the toilet was in the shower section of the wet room. Cue wet feet after using the shower and then the toilet.
Receptionists were lovely, very friendly and accommodating.
I don't have lots of negatives, it's not a bad little place but for what we paid (£85 for the night) I can honestly say we have stayed in better hotels.More
