We visited on a cold and windy December day but it was lovely to walk around, look out to sea and then explore the streets and eat crepes. Generally quiet at that time of year

Was on holiday nearby and visited the walled town one day, was amazed at the amount of interesting and delightfully attractive areas within the walls and also outside too. Was a great day well spent and one to be repeated another year.

Visited in November before taking Brittany Ferries back to Portsmouth. The enclosed cite and ramparts of St Malo in the holiday season is a bustling hub for visitors. Due to the time of the year it was quiet and the Christmas lights were being put up which was interesting. We could shop easily too. If you are anywhere near on a holiday it is worth the visit but be aware of very busy car parks in season - free in the winter!

Lovely walk which actually surrounds the whole of the old town. Great sites and access to other tourist attractions, like the nearby forts. Very pleasant and clean!

Loved the whole city. From the walk along the waterfront at Plage de Sillon to the ramparts and the walled city through to the boats sitting ready to compete in La Route du Rhum.
