Fantastic food and ambiance, with great service, friendly staff and butter. Visited early evening on Friday with my wife Carole and our dog Ted. There was no problem at all accommodating our dog, which is more than can be said for a lot of English restaurants; particularly ones of this high standard.
We shared a starter and then Carole had the monkfish and I had the pigeon. Both the starter and main meals were special and of high quality. However, before we were served our starter we had already been treated to an Amuse-bouche, and bread with 10 different butters.
This was really good fun but raspberry butter!
Joking apart they made the meal special and a great experience. Not the cheapest meal we ever had and the wine is a little expensive, but the wine we had was good!!
