We stopped in this place during our last visit to Saint Malo. The service and staff very friendly. The place is good located. The food was good, we ordered steaks medium rare, was good. The wine was good as well. I think all in all, the place is a good recommendation.

Having walked round the ramparts we decided to stop here for lunch, I had Moules a la Creme a massive bowl of delight with a mountain of frites, my wife had a salad which she found a bit 'wet' ad she wasn't keen on the lettuce wilted by the hot potato We had a good bottle of Saumer Champigny. Excellent location with it's sister organisation Cafe de L'Quest. However we will visit again excellent attentive staff.

Family friendly with great service and the most amazing children’s menu. Our toddler loved the fish dish and grilled cherry tomatoes, it was the perfect stop for the final dinner of our holiday in France before boarding the ferry back to the UK. We visited here last year and it was good to be back. The cafe gourmand is still amazing!

We have eaten here many times over the years and always enjoyed the food and the service ( many of the staff were long serving ) .
This time though the food was not as good ( eg chicken was dry , chips were not French fries but “ home made chips “ still with the potato skin on ) plus the staff side has seen a large turnover in personnel .
The staff are still friendly and efficient but not quite as attentive as they were ( eg various tables around us had to chase drinks orders ) .
It was noticeable on a Saturday night that there were still places to be had in the restaurant whereas others nearby (including their sister restaurant Cafe de L’Quest - both are part of the Maison Hector group ) had people queuing for a table .

It’s still worth a visit though !
