“Excellent Restaurant”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

I completely agree with the previous reviews. My son and I, on a cycling trip to include a stage of the Tour De France, had several very good meals out but this was the best of all being truly exceptional.

Everything a restaurant should be and well worth a short trip out from St Malo. Will definitely go again the next time I am in the area.

“Great dinner”
Reviewed May 30, 2013 via mobile

Three of us had the €30 2 course menu last night. They produced a soup of crab and asparagus as an amuse bouche which was divine. The starters looked so good that it was difficult to decide which to choose. Was thrilled with the magret of smoked duck with fois gras, served with artichoke and asparagus. Divine. My husband had the carpaccio of salmon and turbot. We all had the St Pierre special (John Dory) which hit the spot. My husband also opted for the Camembert which was cooked in filo pastry and served with apple and a glass of Calvados (€5). Sadly I couldnt fit anything else! The service was great and we may even return tonight to taste the other dishes.

“Wonderful Meal”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

We arrived late, and very tired, in Saint Malo after a long and very wet drive from the Languedoc and immediately went out to eat. L'Atre is amongst creperies and other restaurants perhaps more suited to families with young children but, if you want a superb meal beautifully presented and great service then look no further than L'Atre. We returned to our hotel replete and relaxed.
