My partner's set priced meal for 22 euros was rather disappointing but my moules and fries were excellent.

Sitting at a table, outside the restaurant, overlooking the bay, sun shining in May, what can be better, especially when the food served is of such high quality. Starter - a plate of the freshed langoustines I have ever eaten, plainly served with beautiful bread, everyone else on the table so jealous even though their food was equally delicious. Beautifully cooked scallops followed and then desserts to die for. Will definitely return.

This is a wonderfully located restaurant. Right on the sea, with wonderful views from the floor to ceiling windows. The tables are a little close together, but are beautifully set with wonderful clear and blue glasses which are hand made and individual. The food is very good.. a fish restaurant which is cosy and almost never fails in quality of experience. Sometimes the service is a little slow. Madame, when you know her is very welcoming, but can sometimes be rather formidable.

The chef is innovative and makes good use of inexpensive as well as expensive catches. Puddings are attractively presented and coffee excellent. A worthwhile visit. A lovely situation.A lovely city.

We make an annual pilgrimage to L'atre to enjoy there superb food which is offered at reasonable prices when you consider the number of courses and quality of the food. Its way better than anything Intra Muros. It s a great way to spend the afternoon while waiting to get the evening boat back to Jersey. On Tuesday I'm making a day trip with my mum and partner especially to have lunch there which shows how much we enjoy it, we were there earlier this month on the way back from Skiing and it didn't disapoint. I am very suprised by some of the bad reviews, there's a good reason why its always jam packed, if you want to eat at 8, book well in advance.

Off the beaten tourist track, we were staying in a nearby hotel and this restuarant was recommended by one of the hotel staff. so in the (Saturday) afternoon, we wandered down to the Quayside and there it was.

My wife speaks French fluently and she when in and booked our table. We returned at about 19:30 for a gastronomic experience, that would surely satify all except the most rabid food fascists - who thankfully were not in this place. As far we could tell everybody was very happy and mostly locals, which is usually a good sign.

I still have the receipt for a beer, two starters, two mains and two deserts, all for 66 euros.

So much quality for so little money.

Crazy, isn't it?

This is why we love France!
