We had lunch here during a hot May afternoon. I reserved a spot for lunch online in advance. As it turned out we were running late returning to St. Malo from a cruise ship excursion to Dinan and Dinard and did not arrive at Brasserie Du Sillon until well past our alloted time. I was happy the restaurant was still serving lunch and we were advised what sections of the menu we could stil order from. Fear not, as the seafood section was available. I selected a seafood platter with the extra large oysters, langostines, shrimp, whelks and periwinkles. It was fabulolus! The two sauces were also delicious. I wasn't sure I could finish it but did my best. The dessert I chose was a meringe nougat concoction that was also very light and fluffy. A good ending to a wonderful meal. Service was attentive and polite. The view out the window at the beach with the children playing on the sand was a great addition to a relaxing meal. Highly recommended!

We were staying in the Escale Oceania across the road and this was the nearest restaurant to us that had a good rating on Tripadvisor. After wandering along the sea front we decided it looked pleasant and, as it was a Saturday evening, decided to book a table. We could only get one for 9 pm but we were glad we had booked as it was packed when we turned up and people were being turned away. We decided to have the 39€ menu and very much enjoyed the starters, scallops in soup and a plateau of fuits de mer. The latter was excellent. Main course turbot very good but rather a small portion when compared to the starters. Fillet steak was good (had too much fish by then!) but the mustard sauce very strong. Desserts excellent. Service was excellent and well paced considering how busy it was. The wine list reasonable around the 20 - 30€ mark but we decided to give the Petrus at 2750€ a miss this time. We would definitely go again.

Ate here on Wednesday evening at recommendation of hotel for a good seafood restaurant but without a reservation at 8.30pm, place was overstretched and service terribly slow and grumpy. Fortunately chat with fellow guests on next table kept us entertained while food arrived after 45 minutes. Food was excellent but it should be as it was also expensive.

Right by the sea in St Malo's east coast, this restaurant is a natural place-to-be. Staying at the somewhat mediocre Mercure hotel just further down the road, we decided to lunch here on a rainy day and did not regret our choice.

Part of a chaine/groupe, this restaurant is well run and staff work well together, one can relax at the well-napped table, confident that due attention will be paid. However, not all might be content to pay the slightly elevated prices that this location demands - up to the customer!

That said, we ate an entirely satisfactory meal, correctly prepared and served but for just a main course and dessert each sgharing 1/2 bottle of St Nicolas wine at €20, the total bill was €72 which reflects the LOCATION!

Will we return? Maybe, but only after having tried quite a few alternative locations that could offer better value for money (VFM)!

Menu at 17.5 euros extremely good value, presented well and delicious. Wines start at 25 euros a bottle but are excellent.
