I wasn't so sure about this place because it was almost empty at 8 pm (a time when I was starving) and I didn't read anything about it on TA or LP but the husband remembered that the owner was interviewed about galette-making on LP. And am I glad we went with his choice.
The galettes we had were the best we had in Bretagne (while not a long time, we did spend 4 - 5 days therein) - or anywhere else for that matter really. He had the blood sausage galette, while I had the egg-spinach-poitrine one, and we liked both so much we had to order another one to share. (And the portion sizes are GENEROUS so we were reaaally pushing it.) The Val de Rance cider was brilliant too, according to the hub - I didn't try it myself as I'm expecting. What else can I say about this place - the lady owner was lovely, the decor is charming and service is quick... nothing bad at all to say about this place.
Definitely go. There's parking nearby too. (And by the way, the eatery did fill up closer to 9 pm.)
